THE ARMANDO Q. LEYVA PROJECT (PART 2)

After the success of the first ever project for GOD of THE ARMANDO Q. LEYVA PROJECT, without delay, we planned immediately for Project II. An even bigger venture and this time, it involves 250 Malnourished Children from the Guelew Integrated School of San Carlos City Pangasinan. At a very young age, in particular those ages up to 7 years old, should be the ones to be prioritized, especially in terms of their developmental aspect, most importantly in their health stage. It is very essential that at this age group, they should be receiving the best and most nutritious foods produced in this world, they deserve that. Because at this age that they are just at the process of fully developing their different systems such as its immune structure. And by the way, Malnutrition has a direct effect on the immune system & allows a higher susceptibility to infections and it is also considered as one of the most relevant risk factors for illness & death in Children. Aside from that, it is in this age group that their brains are comparable with that of a sponge, it is very aggressive when it comes to obtaining data & information and these collective gathering would register in their minds permanently for the rest of their lives. That is why it is very vital that at this age, they should be carefully guided in all aspects of their life accordingly "Because what they will be in the future will come from what they will receive now." So if a Child, while growing up would undergo different levels and kinds of maltreatment from his environment, you shouldn’t think twice on why that Child progressed into a criminal in the future. But if we inculcated love, care, knowledge, nutrients & God’s Words in his heart & mind, imagine how considerably great of a person that kid would be when he/she grows up.

So the project had happened on December 12, 2014. Actually, the planning of this affair started way back in 2012, when Pastor Carmelita Dagaraga saw my first outreach program on ABS-CBN’s Umagang Kay Ganda & TV Patrol Northern Luzon, where I have organized a unique 10th Year High School Reunion Event, which is for me, a far better alternative compared to hosting a social gathering & celebration. I have instead, encouraged my High School Batchmates to put their money in trying to give back to those that are in need and at that time, we have unanimously chosen Mr. Denton Caballero’s 250 Malnourished Children from the Ambalangan Dalin Elementary School in San Fabian Pangasinan. When Pastor Carmelita, a Teacher by profession, saw my article about the outreach program, she eagerly contacted me, asking if I could also help her students, without hesitation, I replied “Yes”. And 2 years later, through God’s perfect timing and will, we are finally pursuing my promised project.

And again, we did Gift Giving, Feeding Program, Medical Mission & the most important duty of all, we shared GOD’s Words to these young delivered souls. However, this time, it is different because we had a formal program where the children get to perform their favorite dance and songs. And after witnessing & hearing them sing and laugh because they are too excited that someone is listening & giving them attention, care & love in which they really need, it would entirely soften up your hearts…

If we teach and showed these kids Godly love & compassion, imagine what they would be when they grow up. The World maybe or could be a much better place to live in… “There are so many ways to thank our GOD and one form of thanking our Creator is to give & share his poured blessings upon us to our neighbors particularly those deprived ones.”

After Project II, I just cried to our God… I have greatly thanked him because he gave me this rare golden chance to be used for his honor and glory. I am so overwhelmed that me, as well as each member of my Family served as vessels in sharing GOD’s breathtaking love to everyone, mainly the disadvantaged ones. This has always been my dream since I was a young boy, to follow the footpath of my Grandfather, he who have served as my inspiration to live a meaningful existence in this Lifetime.

The ARMANDO Q. LEYVA PROJECT (PART 2) would like to thank Pastor Carmelita Dagaraga, Mr. Denton Caballero, Ms. Shirley Fortin, Ms. Christina Montales, Ms. Salvacion Romero, Mr. Arnulfo Romero and the Workers of GCF (Gospel of Christ Fellowship) Church San Carlos. May our GOD do wonderful favors to your heart’s desires…
