A Traveller’s Rough River Rapids (Cagayan De Oro’s White Water Rafting)

Where else could you experience the best White Water Rafting in the Philippines but in the original Cagayan De Oro River! As soon as I arrived in CAGAYAN DE ORO airport and after checking Inn to Country Village Hotel, I immediately went to ECO-ADVENTURE to avail of their services and I chose the 700 Philippine pesos Package that will pass through 14 Major Rapids and will last up to 3 to 5 hours of White Water Rafting. How exhilarating is that?!

As they were briefing me on what to do during rafting, I can’t help but get excited because I only get to watch these on television and now I’m already about to experience it. How cool is that?! So, as I was rafting and every time I pass through a Major Rapid, I can’t help but shout for extreme joy, the feeling is so much fun!!! I also tried swimming in this very long and cold river which serves as the boundary between Cagayan De Oro and Bukidnon. It was an unforgettable experience!!! Next time when I come back, I would avail of the advance services which will last for about 5 to 7 hours and will pass through more Dangerous Rapids.

After the White Water Rafting Adventure, I rested in the Country Village Hotel for a while and after that I went to the Famous Cagayan De Oro’s Night Cafe held every Friday and Saturday night, it’s like a festival where they close the streets and place a lot of tents of food establishments, it’s a street party where numerous of foods, live bands and large crowds can be seen!

After having my dinner, I visited this Bar in front of the Hotel named OASIS Resto and ate again, they have the tastiest “Lutong Bahay” in Cagayan De oro plus their band is very entertaining, making old songs seem like it has just been released and newly played on the Radios. I also ate at Butcher’s Best where they specialized in different varieties of Barbecue and I guarantee, it’s super delicious and you would come back to eat here again.

When I got back to the Hotel, I just relaxed and swam alone in their swimming pool. It’s just a vacation where only one word could describe it, FUN FUN FUN!!! I would definitely come back and rediscover the extremeness of Cagayan De Oro, Misamis Oriental again.

142 Days Of Us

We have surpassed all the trials and tests that fate can throw upon us… Our True Great Love has stood tall with all the afflictions that destiny and time have given us so that we may see that our faith to each other is still kept within our vows…

Every night, I keep going back and reading all of our messages and letters to each other, even up to the very first message that we left for each other that opened up a spark that has entingled our hearts forever…

These messages and letters have kept me strong and surviving. They have been the source of my strength whenever I’m weary. And when I’m at my weakest? I always think about all the beautiful things that we have shared and it motivates me to stand up and fight back the hardships of life again…

True Great Love is never about setting standards… It’s about accepting, understanding and still loving each other despite of who we truly are behind people’s eyes. It’s about entrusting ourselves to each other and knowing that the safest place in this world is in each other’s love… And realizing that we have a lifetime of togetherness and that we will grow old and mature together… There will never be another woman whom I want to attach my last name to but only you my wife…

I know there will be a lot of phases in our relationship that we will encounter and I know that we will survive it all… Why do I know? Coz’ I BELIEVE IN OUR GREAT LOVESTORY… and I BELIEVE IN US…

A Traveller’s Fairy Tale Story (Enchanted River)

Eastern Mindanao is rich with so many things that most people in the Philippines know nothing about. It is bounded with so much mystery because few people, those only with the biggest curiosity explore this part of the Philippine Islands.

In an unchartered place called HINATUAN lies a magical and enchanting river wherein if the ray of the Sun stumbles upon the still water of the River, it produces a glowing illumination bringing you in a different world, a kingdom where only Fairy Tales exist.

This River has a Cave beneath it that is still undiscovered, many have attempted but none ever succeeded because the current is too strong inside of it. So until now, no one knows what lies beyond that unknown Cave. To get to the magical side of Hinatuan, one has to travel for one and a half hours from Bislig, passing to roads never been paved and developed.

They say that Enchanted River’s water has healing powers and is believed to prolong your life just like the fountain of youth. If so, then Hinatuan has the richest treasure ever found that only kind and good hearted people would love to share to the World…
